As I Am Hemp Seed Oil Hair Bars Collection Overview
The new As I Am Hemp Seed Oil Hair Bars are formulated with hemp seed oil (obviously), calendula, ceramides, and betaine.
Each hair bar comes in different colors and is wrapped in biodegradable paper with funky designs and colors that match each hair bar.
The line is also plastic-free, soap-free, vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free. It’s suitable for all hair types plus 1% of all sales is donated to One Tree Planted.
You can get at least 100 applications out of each product but that really depends on how long and thick your hair is.

As I Am Shampoo Bar
The Hemp Seed Oil Shampoo Bar claims to cleanse and moisturize without weighing down the hair and stripping.
It’s also formulated to strengthen hair, revitalize the scalp and improve detangling.
As I Am says, the shampoo bar “increases moisture & strength by 11%, 33% improvement in detangling and makes combing easier by 22%.”
As I Am Shampoo Bar Ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Betaine, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sorbitan Laurate, Salicylic Acid, Fragrance/Parfum, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate, Dilauryl Citrate, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, Ceramide NP, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Aqua/Water/Eau, Sodium Chloride, Citronellol, Geraniol, Green 6 (CI 61565), Violet 2 (CI 60725), Yellow 11 (CI 47000).
As I Am Cowash Bar
It’s interesting trying out a co-wash bar. It’s not something I would have thought of as practical but As I Am did that.
You can use the cowash bar instead of the shampoo bar. As I Am says, the cowash bar, “moisturizes hair by 26%, improves hair strength by 20%, makes combing easier by 27%, and improves detangling by 32%.”

As I Am Conditioner Bar
As I Am Hemp Seed Oil Conditioner Bar replaces the conditioner after shampooing in your regimen.
In addition to the hemp seed oil and ceramides, it also doesn’t contain any silicones.
As I Am says, the conditioner bar, “moisturizes the hair by 24%, makes combing easier by 23%, makes detangling easier by 29%, and improves elastic strength of hair by 16%.”
As I Am Conditioner Bar Ingredients: Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Quaternium-18, Cetrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance/Parfum, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Ceramide NP, Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, Isostearyl Ethylimidazolinium Ethosulfate, Citronellol, Geraniol, Red 17 (CI 26100).
As I Am Leave-in Conditioner Bar
As I Am Hemp Seed Oil Leave-in Conditioner Bar is formulated to enhance hydration and prevent flaking.
I’m not sure how convenient this would be to use on hair especially since directions say not to squeeze the bar but it’s always worth a try.
As I Am says, the leave-in bar, “moisturizes hair by 21% (at low humidity) and 32% (at high humidity), makes combing easier by 20%, makes detangling easier by 37%, and strengthens…and protects the hair from breakage by 79.3%.”
