Texture ID is a hair care line created specifically for wavy to coily hair types (Type 2 to Type 4).
Their products are formulated with a nourishing complex of oils, natural humectants, and strengthening proteins.
The products are supposed to help seal hair cuticles and promote intense moisture and curl definition.
The key ingredients in the product line include honey, aloe vera juice, and protein.
The Texture ID line packaging is gorgeous with neutral calming colors and bold text that immediately pops out at you.
The packaging also includes a little picture of which hair types each product is suitable for.
Sally Beauty is including a selection of Texture ID hair products in the textured hair sale going on throughout September.

Does Texture ID Have Sulfates?
Some of the shampoos included in the Texture ID line are sulfate-free.
Instead of sulfates, they contain coconut-derived surfactants that are not in the sulfate family. These include:-
The rest uses another form of surfactant that isn’t as harsh as sulfates but can still be drying to curly hair.
Is Texture ID Curly Girl Friendly?
Overall, the products for the curlier hair types look like they are curly girl friendly but you won’t know if your hair loves it until you try it.
There are a few ingredients I’m not crazy about but not enough for me to not try it out at least once.
Who Owns Texture ID?
I conducted quite an in-depth digging session online but couldn’t locate the owner of Texture ID nor the founder.
All the information I found led back to the main page on the Sally Beauty website. It would appear it’s a Sally Beauty brand.
As far as I could see, Texture ID is not a black-owned company in case you’re 100% committed to only trying out black-owned brands.
